Outreach

Every member is finding his or her role in evangelism.  That’s intimidating for most of us.  But it is the call of every believer.

Some of our members are already active witnesses in the spheres where they live, work, and play.  Praise God.  We hope to encourage them in that.

Other members need help rubbing shoulders with unbelievers.  Our deacons are helping plug those folks into the disciple making mercy ministries we serve.  Some of our outreach includes mentoring urban at risk youth, sharing Christ’s love with women in the city’s sex industry, supporting teen moms, and friendship with men in transition.

Please contact Mike Ruiz for more information on how to get involved.

Streams of Living Water is one of our mission partners. Here's a brief video to help familiarize yourself with the ministry. A group of us meets every Monday during our lunch break, 12-12:30pm, to pray for the work via Zoom if you'd like to join us.

Ezekiel Ministries partners with local churches to recruit loving adult mentors who will make a long-term investment in children’s lives. As a result, children make better decisions, families grow stronger, and communities are forever changed. Ezekiel Ministries would love your help, and the specific gifts that you have. From serving at EZE Afterschool, mentoring with EZE Mentoring, praying as a Prayer Warrior...we need what you bring! Get involved here.

Moms of Cola Pres- we have an awesome opportunity to reach out to moms outside of CPC while connecting with moms in our church. Columbia Moms Connect is an outreach designed to help you invite neighbors, friends, and those disconnected into gospel community! Think of inviting friends that don’t attend church that would be comfortable coming to a fun event to meet other moms. Contact Lindsay to get connected!

Pearls is a ministry that offers support, hope, and restoration to women working in Columbia's adult entertainment industry. Through monthly outreaches to Columbia's largest strip club, Pearls has the opportunity to build relationships with women working in the industry by serving a meal and getting to know them where they are, while pointing them to the hope that is only found in the Gospel. Pearls desires to see the women it serves find new life and hope in Jesus.

Young Life One, the newest branch of ministry within Young Life, aims to meet kids on the margins with the hope of Jesus Christ. Here in Columbia, they are pioneering this ministry out of the Broad River Road complex. This long term facility run by the Department of Juvenile Justice currently houses 46 adolescents throughout the state ages 12-19.
